
The voices are sorted by overall review score. You can test voices like Jane, Nathan, and even your own voice to figure out which is the clearest for you, though we don’t recommend bothering your passengers by opting to receive. Then, I summarized my comments about the unique features of each voice and provided the link to download the voice yourself. Fun note: Your Voice & Sound section also allows you to update your Waze voice, which is the voice that gives you directions from your drive. The best part? They’re shareable! Searching for the perfect voice, I went through every Waze voice I could find (there were 45 at the time of posting) and rated them on how funny they were, how long you could realistically listen to the voice, and how good the audio quality was. The only real workaround is to create a custom voice. Once they expire, the voice goes back to its default upon the next app update. Waze recently released its custom voice feature, allowing anyone to record their own voices to use for their GPS. Celebrity voices are few and far between, and only available for a limited time.

Also, there was no way for me to take old celebrity voices and create sharable packages from them.
